GOT MY TICKET IN MY HAND

Revelation 22:17 – "Let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely."
Have you ever planned a big trip? Before you can go, there's a process—you check your destination, prepare your bags, and, most importantly, secure your ticket. No ticket, no travel. Spiritually, we are all on a journey, and there are only two destinations: eternity with God or eternal separation from Him. The good news is that the ticket to Heaven has already been purchased—paid in full by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 22:17 is one of the last invitations in the Bible, a final call to all who are thirsty, longing for something more than what this world can offer. It echoes the words of Jesus in John 7:37 when He stood in the temple and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink." This thirst represents our deep spiritual need—the longing for salvation, peace, and reconciliation with God. Every soul feels this thirst, though some try to quench it with worldly pursuits, only to remain empty. Jesus alone satisfies.
The beauty of this invitation is in its simplicity: whoever desires may come. No restrictions. No preconditions. No impossible requirements. Just a heart willing to receive. Salvation is not earned through good deeds, social status, or religious rituals. It is a gift, freely given to those who accept it. Just as you wouldn't ignore a free, first-class ticket to the greatest destination imaginable, why would you refuse the most precious gift—eternal life with God?
But every gift must be received. Some hesitate, thinking they are unworthy. Others delay, believing they have more time. Yet, just as a ticket eventually expires, opportunities don't last forever. Revelation 22:17 is urgent—Come. Take. Don't wait. The Holy Spirit is calling, guiding hearts to repentance, making the divine transaction possible.
The question today is simple: Have you received your ticket? Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ, accepting His free gift of salvation? The journey is set, the destination is prepared, and your place is secured if you believe.
So, hold your ticket in faith, knowing that Jesus made the way. Walk in confidence, knowing that Heaven is your home. And share this invitation with others—because there's still room for whoever desires. Will you take hold of your ticket today?
